What is Teen Patti?

Three cards and a shared pot

Teen Patti means “three cards” in Hindi. In the classic game, each player receives three face-down cards from a standard 52-card deck. Players contribute to a shared pot and take turns deciding whether to continue or fold.

How a winner is decided

A player wins if everyone else folds, or by holding the stronger hand in a permitted final comparison. The familiar ranking is trail, pure sequence, sequence, color, pair and high card. A color means one suit, not simply three red or three black cards.

Blind, seen and different versions

You can remain blind without looking at your cards or become a seen player. These choices usually have different betting costs. Apps also offer variants with jokers or reversed rankings. Casino titles may use a separate payout system altogether.

A good first step

Learn the complete rules and practice with valueless chips. Confirm whether an app is a social game or a real-money service before making any purchase. A game’s name does not establish whether chips can be redeemed.
